I had the great encouragement to be asked to pray at the inauguration of our new town council and mayor. It was such a good opportunity, and people were appreciative of my prayer. It was so encouraging that we still have the opportunity to point people’s focus to God at such an important town event. God is so good and it is an encouragement to remember that He is sovereign over everything in Ear Falls, and that He was the one who decided who would be our mayor and council (Rom. 13:1).
